So Justin may not be in next week's episode, but word has it he'll be in the next 4 episodes, starting October 9, 2009.  Here are some story lines to look forward to, courtesy of Kryptonsite (SPOILERS ARE IN RED SO SKIP THEM IF YOU'D LIKE):

EPISODE #9.3: "Rabid"  Airdate: October 9, 2009

The CW's Official Description: ZOD UNLEASHES A VIRUS INTO METROPOLIS — Zod (Callum Blue) and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies.  The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian.  After Lois (Erica Durance) is infected, Chloe (Allison Mack) pleads with Clark (Tom Welling) to donate his blood to stop the epidemic, even though it risks outing him to Zod.

- And if you love that GA costume Justin sports, bad news...he BURNS it in this episode.

EPISODE #9.4: "Echo"  Airdate: October 16, 2009

The CW's Official Description: THE TOYMAN RETURNS AND TAKES OLIVER HOSTAGE — Tess (Cassidy Freeman) forces Oliver (Justin Hartley) to come to a Queen Industries gala to put the Board at ease, but things go awry when the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) shows up with a bomb and a plan to take revenge on Oliver.  The Toyman tells Oliver he must confess to murdering Lex or he will blow the place up.  Meanwhile, as part of his training, Jor-El gives Clark (Tom Welling) the ability to hear other people’s thoughts.

- Oliver ends up at a seedy club in Havana with two women in tow, and later ends up being chased by a large drug kingpin. He ends up having to be saved by one of his on-again, off-again associates and romantic partners.

EPISODE #9.5: "Roulette"  Airdate: October 23, 2009

- Lois learns of a secret Clark has been keeping about Oliver.

- Oliver starts the episode's teaser at a speakeasy where he has maxed out his credit line and is generally down on life. He asks for a blowfish knowing that it could be delay. Roulette enters using the name of "Victoria Sinclair," wearing a red dress with high slits that reveal an elaborate dragon tattoo. She makes a reference to Oliver looking like "a guy down on his luck;" when he sees her, he says he thinks his luck "just turned around." Oliver admits to her that he's lost a certain lust for life, and she invites him to play a game with her. She then convinces Oliver to take a pill which makes his eyesight blur and he falls for the floor.  Later Oliver and "Victoria" are running, and he asks her what her "game' is. She tells him if he hadn't taken the pill, the people she works for would have killed her. "Victoria" is shot and her blood splatters all over Oliver's white business suit. Then Oliver is tasered by a cop who believes him to be a killer, and he is arrested and taken in to be questioned. He is released by an FBI agent who knows about the "game."

 EPISODE #9.6: "Crossfire"  Airdate: October 30, 2009

-Lois and Oliver have a scene at the Ace of Clubs. It appears that Oliver is going to be Lois's arranged date, which could explain the "needing a drink" line.

- Oliver's storyline involves him meeting Mia Dearden, and yes, this speedy girl wears lots of red and yellow. She's also a hooker, working for a tattooed pimp named Rick, who doesn't sound like a very pleasant character. At some point Mia takes Ollie for a quick spin in his Lamorghini, at which point he teasingly calls her "Speedy." Later, Oliver reveals the real reason he is there - he knows of her from an earlier encounter, and he wants to be able to help her. It sounds like redeeming Mia may be Oliver's chance to redeem himself.

- New stuff from TV Guide Magazine: Confirming that the Mia Dearden version of "Speedy" is coming to the show, Peterson reveals that, like her comic book counterpart, Mia WILL be HIV-positive. "She has a sordid past and crosses paths with Oliver [Green Arrow] in some shady places,” Kelly Souders says. “But he gives her hope.” Mia, who will debut her red-and-yellow comic colors in Episode 6, has “amazing martial-arts skills” yet to be honed, Peterson says. (We had this episode listed as #7 here, which may imply they're changing up the episode order a little)
